DLTF meeting held at Lawngtlai

A meeting of District Level Task Force on COVID-19 (DLTF), Lawngtlai District was held yesterday at DC’s Conference Hall, Lawngtlai under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Dr Andrew H. Vanlaldika.

The meeting reviewed and discussed COVID-19 status of Lawngtlai District, existing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), SOP & Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) enforcement, Covid preparedness and quarantine facilities, etc.

As per reports given by Chief Medical Officer Dr LP Malsawma, Lawngtlai District has achieved 85.30% in 1st dose and 56.40% in 2nd dose in the vaccination for COVID-19, out of the District target of 82,359 persons above 18 years of age. Vaccination of 15 – 17 years population was started for Lawngtlai District on 7th January, 2022 in which 18.20% out of targetted 9,630 persons had already received the 1st dose.
