SCOPE OF THE PROJECT :
Department deals with cultivation practices and processing of fruits, vegetables, spices, plantation crop and floriculture. Since, ten years back with the help of Government of India. Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture was introduced and under this scheme 50% of the total fund is contributed by beneficiaries and another 50% is contributed by the Government of India. Hence, various scheme were implemented under this Division for several years. The main aim is to enhance Horticulture Production, increase farmer income and improved productivity by providing good quality planting materials and support the farmers by providing pest management and nutrient management.
