ADMINISTRATIVE SETUP

District Education Office has been set up at the District Headquarters of Lawngtlai on 7th August, 2002.

Under District Education Officer, Lawngtlai District there are 2 Govt. Higher Secondary Schools, 17 Govt. High Schools, 18 Govt. Middle Schools, 5 Adhoc Aided High Schools, 6 Lump Sum Grand in Aid Higher Secondary Schools, 8 Lump sum Grand in Aid High Schools, 10 RMSA Schools, 24 Pvt High Schools and 7 Pvt Higher Secondary Schools.

There are 11 HSLC Examination Centres and 7 HSSLC Examination Centres.
