DEO holds press meet on National Voter Awareness Contest at Lawngtlai
District Election Officer Lawngtlai Dr Andrew H. Vanlaldika held a press meet on Election Commission of India (ECI)’s “National Voter Awareness Contest” today at DC’s Conference Hall, Lawngtlai.
Election Officer Pi B. Malsawmtluangi and SVEEP Nodal Officer Pu C. Lalhruaitluanga, DIPRO accompanied the District Election Officer. Members of MJA Lawngtlai District were briefed on the contest and were requested to publicise the same and encourage the general public to participate.
The Election Commission of India has launched the National Voter Awareness Contest on 25th January, 2022, with a theme of “My Vote is My Future: Power of One Vote”. The contest consists of five types of contest: quiz contest, slogan contest, song contest, video making contest and poster design contest. The last date for sending entries is 15th March, 2022.
